Guest registration in Spain with SES.Hospedajes
Guest folder Plus supports guest registration for stays in Spain via the owner’s own SES.Hospedajes connection. Guests enter their details via their personal link; this is followed by a verification and a submission step.
What do you need beforehand?
You use the accommodation’s own SES.Hospedajes connection. The owner enters the connection details into the management system and checks the connection. Verblijfmakers does not issue a letting licence or provide the accommodation with its own SES account.
When setting up, check whether you are using a test or production connection. A successful technical test does not in itself prove that a genuine production notification has been accepted by SES.
From filling in to sending
First, all guests included in the booking must fill in the required registration details. Only once everyone’s details are complete will the combined summary appear.
The guest checks the summary and selects ‘Send’. The Guest Folder then sends the booking details directly to SES.Hospedajes via the accommodation’s connection. It is therefore not a case of sending a partially completed booking.
Check the dispatch status
In the management section, you can track the submission status. Make a distinction between data that has been entered, a submission attempt and an accepted notification. Check the feedback before assuming that the registration has been completed.
Has a report been rejected, or is its status unclear? Check the response and the details you have entered. Before resubmitting, first check whether SES has received your previous attempt.
What remains with the owner?
The owner remains responsible for their own connection, ensuring details are correct, carrying out identity checks and, where necessary, obtaining signatures. For information on the obligations relating to your accommodation, please refer to the latest guidance from the relevant authorities.
